Current Positions

Web Developer

Web developer’s primary focus is to create dynamic, interactive and rich internet application Web sites for SnowDog and their clientele while helping to integrate, showcase and maintain complementary technologies as they emerge. Individual must interact well within a team, have excellent communication skills, enjoys solving problems, be self motivated, and be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Capable of developing dynamic, database-driven web-based Internet and Intranet projects using both industry standard tools (primarily PHP and MySQL)
  • Design application architecture for these projects
  • Participate in projects from early design phases through final testing and QA
  • Perform regular maintenance and support of existing web-based projects
  • Initiate new Internet, Intranet and multimedia projects

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years progressively responsible web application development and database integration using industry standard tools (PHP, DHTML, Java, JavaScript, Cold Fusion, SQL, MySQL, etc.) – Ajax experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop to Object Oriented Design principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of Web Servers
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of project managers, graphic designers, information architects, and database developers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development of commercial web products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and support our valued clients and their projects
  • Thorough knowledge of browser compatibility and cross-platform development issues
  • Active portfolio is required (access to live Web sites)
  • Work related references are also required
