Jason Meuter, Project Manager, Director of Sales

Discovering an early love for technology, Jason began experimenting with computers and what they had to offer during the Commodore 64 age.  As technological advances were made, his love for computers grew as time went on.  A single credit away from graduating at Washington State University in English, Jason discovered the world of web programming in 1996.  He was able to produce a web site for the Jazz bar he worked for to complete his final graduating credit with the use of an independent study course (401).  In a strange twist of fate, this discovery later led Jason to becoming the founder of SnowDog Web Development, Inc.  Jason earned his degree and moved on to Seattle where he entered the technology industry working as a Contractor for Microsoft.  Despite success at the fast-paced industry giant, Jason felt the city life was not for him and he decided to give the mountain life a try, once again (Crested Butte, CO was the first).  Upon arriving in Whitefish, Jason used his experience to become a Project Manager for a local computer company who created and hosted Realtor© Association web sites across the United States.  He still felt his goals and desires were not being met, and that it was time to take a leap of faith.  On August 1, 1998 he Incorporated SnowDog Web Development.  At the heart of this decision was a belief that most technology-based companies were grossly overlooking customer service.  “I respect a company that adds that extra bit of customer service for me. That is the foundation of SnowDog – it is based on this notion and I think it’s a large portion of our success.”  Jason’s employees all incorporate his non-stop desire to develop within the client’s structure and needs to help businesses work smarter.
